Career

I have worked for NHS Digital for the last 8 years. I am working in a Business Support Manager role for the Challenging Burden Service, a team set up to reduce burden within the health service. As part of this, I am responsible for carrying out investigations into duplication or review unnecessary data point requests within data collections and trying to get agreement from data collection owners into reviewing or amending their requirements.

Running

I am currently training for my fifth marathon, the Run For All Yorkshire Marathon that takes place in York on 20th October 2019. I am looking forward to getting myself ready over the coming months and getting plenty of miles in my legs before then. Please keep your fingers crossed for a dry, not too warm summer!

Blogging

I write blogs and other content at my www.richlord.co.uk website. On there, my main topics are running, my fitness/fatness battle and other general topics. I would very much like it if you would visit that site too and get involved by commenting and sharing.

Social Media

I like creating social media content for my friends and followers online. One particular popular area is #SelfieSunday where I collate all the selfies that I have had with friends that week and post them to Facebook on a Sunday. My friends are very keen to get involved with this and it has created a great buzz on running days where people want to have a selfie with me so that it can be on that week’s post!

Football

I follow Pontefract Collieries, who are a local semi-pro football team playing at Step Four of the non-league pyramid. They play in the Bet Victor Northern Premier League – North West division. After coming second in this league last year and narrowly missing out on promotion in their first season that high up in the non-league world, the fans and the club are looking forward to what promises to be another exciting season.

I built and run a website for fans of Ponte Colls. It is called We Are In The Shed. You can also follow them on Instagram too.
