In November 2016, I wrote and self-published my first ebook ‘How A Fat Sweaty Santa Became A Marathon Runner’. It documents the journey from being a non-runner to 20 months later running my first ever marathon. It is an enjoyable short story that goes through what I went through making these massive leaps forwards to reaching a memorable landmark milestone, or a 26.2 milestone!

Run ABC North
Run ABC North article Jan/Mar 2017 – This article is relating to my popular ebook ‘How A Fat Sweaty Santa Became A Marathon Runner’. I was pleased that my work was featured in this magazine that is widely distributed across the north of England and is well known by much of the running community. It helped with sales of the ebook too! 🙂
Run ABC North article Mar/Apr 2016 – I was approached by Run ABC North, a running magazine to take part in an interview about my favourite race I had competed in. I happily answered their interview questions that they sent through to me and the article below is the finished product. The race organiser informed me that he was very pleased with the write-up and for the extra publicity it created for their event.
I wrote about the Darrington 5 miler race that I have ran the last few years. It is a small event that runs in co-ordination with their village fair. They have a lovely village atmosphere and there is a fantastic feeling throughout the day. I was really pleased to be asked to write for them, and I hope to be able to get the opportunities to write more articles in future for them, and for other publications.

Here is a sample of some of them.
