Merry Christmas everyone.
I would like to start by wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas and want to share a few of my thoughts with people at this time.
This is the time when we say ‘Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.’ Well I would say Amen to that!
There is too much arguing. Too much bitterness. Too much complaining. Time for change!
Time for making better use of our time. Time for connecting with like-minded people. Time for happier times.
Time to become who we want to be.
A brighter future
I genuinely believe that we can have a brighter future. We need a culture change to get there though.
There are a lot of bad things that happen in life. There are a lot of bad things that happen around us.
We can find a way through most things with different thinking and greater forethought.
By reducing negative energies, getting rid of energy vampires, and sidelining draining people, we can grow.
They say we become like the five people we are around the most. Just think of that right now.
Would you be happy with being effectively an amalgam of those people?
You may want to make changes. You may want to make some choices going forwards. Who is the you you want to be?
This year, I have lost a number of good friends who have sadly passed away far too soon.
When something like that happens, it should stimulate thought in you. It needs to trigger actions too.
One thing I want to do more now is to not just let friendships drift off into the dust.
Communication is crucial for how we feel as human beings. We need interaction. We need quality interaction.
The irony that we have such advanced communication tools nowadays but we still don’t contact some of our oldest friends.
There really is no excuse. Is this the me I want to be?
What next? Well, for all of us, that is up to us as individuals.
What kind of life do we want? One where arguing, bitterness, complaining are the norm?
One where we make better use of our time, where we connect with like-minded people, where we seek out happier times?
Out with the negative energies, out with the energy vampires, out go those who drain us instead of lift us up.
Time to connect once more with those who make us who we are, Time to be thankful for those who are there for us.
Time for us to appreciate more. Time for us to laugh more. Time for us to share experiences and to help each other grow.
In 2019, this opportunity is there for all of us. An opportunity to enjoy your energy. An opportunity to believe in better. An opportunity to be the me I could be.
Merry Christmas everyone.
